Madhoo Shah opens up on her relationship with Hema Malini and Juhi Chawla! Tue May 07th, 2024

During the 1990s, Madhoo Shah was a well-known Bollywood actress who collaborated with a number of well-known actors, including Saif Ali Khan, Govinda, Suniel Shetty, and Akshay Kumar. The actress's next movie, Kartam Bhugtam, is now creating waves. She has been transparent about her relationship with Juhi Chawla and Hema Malini, with whom she has familial links.

Relating to well-known celebrities does not ensure success, according to Madhoo, the sister-in-law of Juhi and cousin of seasoned actress and politician Hema.

Madhoo Shah discussed her friendship with Hema Malini and Juhi Chawla in a media chat. She asserted that while having connections to celebrities earns you respect in the business, success is not a guarantee.

Madhoo stated that it wasn't until she got married and left the industry that Juhi became a family member in her life. "So her being in the family, emotionally, or mentally, or physically, did not affect me,” she told while adding about Hema. The actress claimed that she gained a great deal of respect because she was raised by an accomplished artist like Hema ji.

She claimed that because of her relationship with the seasoned actress, she was spared the painful experiences that many young actresses have to endure. She did, however, add that it didn't assist her in getting movies.

She further revealed, "It did not give me a movie, it did not give me a hit, it did not give me appreciation even, but it gave me access and respect. If I went to somebody’s office, I was treated with respect. So that much respect I got because I came from Hema ji’s home.”

Soham Shah is the writer and director of the upcoming psychological thriller Kartam Bhugtam. In addition to Madhoo, Vijay Raaz and Shreyas Talpade also feature in the movie. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on May 17, 2024.
