Synopsis

Thappad is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed and co-produced (with Bhushan Kumar) by Anubhav Sinha. The film stars Taapsee Pannu as a woman who files for divorce after her husband slaps her.

Plot: Thappad is a story of Amrita whose seemingly perfect life is shattered when her husband slaps her once in a party. But is one slap enough to question what a relationship stands for?
